Middlesex Recovery strives to provide quality help to those living with opioid and alcohol substance use disorders using evidence-based methods and FDA-approved medications, such as Suboxone®, Vivitrol® and other buprenorphine products. We are a licensed office-based opioid treatment (OBOT) facility with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS). Our convenient and confidential outpatient programs allow individuals with families and other responsibilities to access care and treatment for their addiction while maintaining their lives. The common link is the feeling of being alone and unloved and not connected to anything. But here is the truth, when things look really bad the end of that struggle is much closer than anyone realizes. Sometimes it just takes a few guided steps to get things in motion. Our team is focused on spending quality time, day after day, getting to know people, building personal connections, so they can assist them with opportunities to rebuild their lives, regardless of their background.
We believe that creating an environment that is warm and welcoming is the answer, one that gives a feeling that is better than the high from drugs or alcohol. A place where caring staff get to know someone day after day. At The Twelve we are focused on “use reduction” for anything that takes a person’s life off track. Becoming busy with things you are meant to do and seeing a future that is turning positive is how this path begins.
At The Twelve we address the basic needs of a person first, like personal and medical care. We have channels to excellent treatment and support options, and remain connected to a person to welcome them back, possibly to our residential living model. Each person has a different timeline, but it is the forward progress that matters.

Our name, Badger Peabody & Smith Realty, was announced on February 1, 2022, after two highly respected brands—Badger Realty and Peabody & Smith Realty—completed a merger the previous year. Both firms were market leaders in their respective areas, from the Mt. Washington Valley through Central New Hampshire, the Western White Mountains, and the North Country.

After a yearlong discovery process involving a national branding firm, we created the Badger Peabody & Smith Realty brand that you know today. While we honor the legacy and reputation of both founding families, the firm is independently owned and led by Andy Smith, our sole broker/owner. Yoga in Action pursues the mission to ensure all people have access to the therapeutic benefits of yoga regardless of social, physical, and financial barriers by providing no-cost, trauma-informed yoga classes. Individual classes are designated for specific groups of underserved individuals including individuals affected by cancer, veterans, seniors, folks living with disability, and those in recovery to ensure that practices are specialized to their needs.
