The Community Health Institute (CHI) is New Hampshire’s Public Health Institute working with public and private organizations to improve health status and foster innovation in health care and public health systems. Established in 1995 by JSI Research and Training Institute (JSI), in partnership with the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the CHI provides technical assistance and consulting, training and research and evaluation services to build capacity to carry out health care and public health improvement initiatives designed to meet community needs.
